Important Software System Update

OSFM is transitioning to GL Solutions for Elevator Safety Registrations, Certificates of Operation, Permits, Variances and Licenses, Fire Prevention Licensing and Boiler Licensing, effective SEPTEMBER 29. The current Jurisdiction Online systems will be available through Friday, August 22.

OSFM is transitioning to JRS for Boiler Safety inspections, effective AUGUST 25.

OSFM is excited to announce the launch of their new application SFM-GLS designed to provide a faster, more secure, and seamless experience for Elevator Safety Certificates, Permits and Licensing, Fire Prevention Licensing and Boiler Licensing.

As part of this transition, all users will need to create a new account.

We’ve rebuilt the platform from the ground up to offer better performance, improved features, and enhanced security and easy pay.

What you need to do?

Important Dates

End of day Friday, August 22 - Jurisdiction Online portal shut down.
Saturday, August 23 through Wednesday, September 24 - Paper application processing.
- All elevator, boiler and fire prevention licenses will be processed via paper.
- All payments will be via check and manually posted by fiscal.
Thursday, September 25 - all paper processing will cease.
