Elevator Safety Review Board

The Elevator Safety Review Board regulates construction, operation, inspection, testing, maintenance, alteration and repair of elevators and other conveyances. Nine Board members shall constitute a quorum. A quorum is required for all Board decisions.

The Elevator Safety Review Board holds six (6) regularly scheduled meetings each calendar year -- three in Chicago and three in Springfield. Please note that additional meetings can be scheduled if so desired.
