Public Education / Fire Service Outreach

The Division of Fire Service Outreach is responsible for fire and unintentional injury prevention education, outreach services to citizens, fire fighting agencies, and organizations throughout the state. The Division oversees a variety of educational and informational programs to decrease the number of incidents, injuries and fatalities in the state, and targets high-risk groups and communities.

The Division houses the following programs:

• Firefighter Memorial and Medal of Honor
• Fire Museum
• National Incident Fire Reporting System (NFIRS)
